A COMMUNITY
TRANSFORMING THE FOOD SYSTEM

Our food system is calling for new ways of working that are aligned with life thriving.

We are a community of leaders answering that call, using our businesses and organizations as instruments of transformation to evolve our food system so it nourishes communities, ecosystems, and future generations.

Evolving
in community

We see regeneration not as a set of practices to adopt or standards to meet, but as a continual process of evolving the underlying patterns and structures of our food system to support long-term thriving of land, communities, and business.

Systems evolution requires community: a space to examine our mindsets, challenge ourselves, and develop new leadership and strategic capabilities together. As a community, we focus on shifting the deeper patterns that shape the food system: how value is defined, how capital flows, how success is measured, and how power and responsibility are distributed.

community

Build meaningful relationships with leaders across the food system who are working on the same challenges and learning together, creating friendships likely to last a lifetime.

shift

systemic patterns

Work together to shift the underlying patterns that shape the food system, from finance and incentives to transparency, standards, and consolidation.

Develop new
ways of working

To shift systems, we must first shift how we act. With community support, we build new habits that align our daily decisions and actions with the future we want to create.

Thinking

partnership

Work with trusted peers who help you surface blind spots, clarify your thinking, and see new possibilities at the root of your challenges.

LIVING SYSTEMS

Examine the assumptions shaping our decisions, and learn to work in ways that align with how living systems operate and thrive.

Online and

in PERSON

Gather in online sessions, regional meetups, and initiative groups that include practices and rituals to support holistic nourishment.

About
the hosts

We’ve spent decades in the food and agriculture industries working across nonprofits, for-profits, and the entire supply system, from producers to customers. What’s become clear is that it’s not our businesses holding us back from a truly regenerative food system- it’s the system itself. This is why the heart of our work is supporting food business leaders to evolve their businesses and work to play a role in changing the way our food system operates.

reNourish Studio, founded in 2022, exists to address a critical gap in the regenerative and good food movement: the mindset behind how we design strategies for system evolution. We work with food businesses, nonprofits, investors, and coalitions to evolve the extractive patterns in our food system that undermine our collective efforts. We help leaders see new possibilities by understanding the systems they operate in, building shared direction with unlikely allies, and identifying roles we can all play. From 2022 to 2025, we hosted a three-year cohort with 33 food business, nonprofit, and investor leaders to explore new ways of thinking and evolving systems. Today we work with businesses, organizations, and networks through organizational development and strategy consulting, convening groups, and hosting retreats and courses.

reNourish Studio is rooted in Eastern and Western philosophy, informed by quantum theory, and grounded in the belief that humans are inseparable from the living world. Our teachers include Carol Sanford, Pamela Mang, and the Regenesis Institute for Regenerative Practice. We apply regenerative business and development principles to evolving the food system, drawing on our experience in regenerative agriculture, market development, tracking, permaculture, finance, herbalism, and earth-based spirituality.
